Zavala Photography and Film is a Mcallen and RGV based Wedding and Portrait Photography business. Born in Mexico and raised in South Texas, I, Juan Zavala started in Architectural Design while attending at South Texas College. Zavala Photography was born from a slow transition of floor plans to Architecture photography and eventually to Portrait Photography.

Given the chance to shoot a small wedding, I quickly realized what I wanted to do with my life, a new passion was born. I wanted to tell a story with my camera, and so I set myself forward to learn and master the art of storytelling for the most special day of any couple, their wedding day.

As I’ve been learning, I’ve managed to expand my team and have been lucky to hire my own girlfriend and partner, Alondra Pruneda. With a touch of her feminine side and experience, together we will make sure we document and capture every moment worth capturing for your generations to come.
